LinkedIn posts with an AI agent that do not read like AI
· 2 min read · Vinayak Kaushal
Connect LinkedIn to Apavin, give your agent your real background, and get posts that are researched first, checked line by line, and published only when you approve.
The short answer
Most AI LinkedIn posts fail the same way: they open with a feeling, promise a "game-changer", and contain nothing only the author could have written. Readers scroll past in a second. The fix is not a better prompt.
Most AI LinkedIn posts fail the same way: they open with a feeling, promise a "game-changer", and contain nothing only the author could have written. Readers scroll past in a second. The fix is not a better prompt. It is giving the agent your real material, making it research before it writes, and refusing to publish anything that reads like a machine.
Step 1: connect LinkedIn
In Apavin, open Settings, Channels and choose Connect LinkedIn. You sign in on LinkedIn and allow posting. Apavin gets your name, photo and permission to publish on your own profile. Nothing else.
Step 2: write your author profile once
LinkedIn does not let any app read your work history or your posts' numbers. So the agent knows only what you tell it. Paste your About and experience, say who you write for and how you sound, and paste two or three posts that did well with their impressions. This is the difference between a post that could be anyone's and one that is yours.
Step 3: ask your agent for a post
In Claude or any MCP client connected to Apavin, use the linkedin_post prompt or simply ask "write my LinkedIn post for Thursday". The agent:
- reads your author profile with
get_linkedin_profile - researches what changed in your field in the last two weeks, with its own web tools, and keeps the sources
- proposes three angles and picks the one only you could write
- writes it, then runs
check_linkedin_postand rewrites until the verdict is ready
What the writing check refuses
- Em dashes. Apavin replaces any that slip through with a plain hyphen before anything leaves.
- Machine phrases such as "delve", "unlock", "in today's fast-paced world" and "I'm thrilled to announce".
- A first line over 140 characters, because the point has to show before "see more".
- Walls of text, more than three hashtags, and posts with no number, name or date in them.
Step 4: approve it
The draft waits in Apavin with its sources. Only the person who connected the LinkedIn account can approve a post on it. Approve to publish now, or schedule it.
Will every post get high impressions?
Nobody can honestly promise that. What Apavin makes sure of is that each post is researched, specific, in your voice and free of the patterns readers have learned to skip. Log each post's numbers with record_linkedin_post_stats and the next draft starts from what worked for you.
Which plan includes it?
Every plan, including Free, which publishes up to 9 posts a week and 2 a day. Posts on one profile always stay at least 6 hours apart, and Apavin never likes, comments, connects or messages on LinkedIn for you. See the LinkedIn page and pricing.
