A Zoho SalesIQ alternative with one inbox
· 4 min read · Apavin
SalesIQ is priced per operator, which decides most of this. Whether you want chat alone or chat plus eleven other channels decides the rest.
The short answer
If you are looking for a Zoho SalesIQ alternative, the question that decides everything is whether you are replacing website chat or replacing website chat plus every other channel your customers use. Those are two products at two prices.
If you are looking for a Zoho SalesIQ alternative, the question that decides everything is whether you are replacing website chat or replacing website chat plus every other channel your customers use. Those are two products at two prices. SalesIQ itself is billed per operator, so the arithmetic also changes with the size of your team rather than with how much you use it.
What does Zoho SalesIQ cost?
Per operator, on every paid plan. Read off Zoho's own pricing document in September 2026: Basic is USD 7 per operator per month billed annually or USD 10 billed monthly; Professional is USD 12.75 annually or USD 17 monthly; Enterprise is USD 20 annually or USD 25 monthly. Each paid plan includes one operator license. There is a free plan with three operators.
That model is generous at one or two people and becomes the main line item at eight. A five person team on Professional is USD 63.75 a month billed annually, and a ten person team is USD 127.50. Nothing about your usage changed between those two numbers. You hired.
Every comparison below starts there, because for most teams the reason to leave is the seat curve rather than the product.
Replacing website chat alone
If your customers only reach you through the website, you do not need twelve channels and should not pay for them.
IntellQ, which Apavin builds, is the like-for-like swap: live visitor tracking and website chat for USD 15 a month per workspace with unlimited operator seats, never counted for billing. It shows who is on the site now, what brought them and what they are reading, with a widget you can shape to the pixel and size separately for desktop and phone. There is a seven day trial and no card to start it.
The comparison is a seat count. At one operator SalesIQ Basic at USD 7 is cheaper. At two operators on Professional the two are close. At five and above the flat price stops moving and the per-operator one does not.
You also bring your own AI key. IntellQ does not resell model tokens or mark them up, which is why the price does not move however much the agent talks.
Replacing chat and everything else
If website chat is one of six places customers reach you, a chat tool is not the thing to shop for. The problem you have is that the same person arrives by chat on Monday, WhatsApp on Wednesday and email on Friday, and to your team that looks like three strangers.
Apavin threads twelve channels per customer rather than per channel: WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, LINE, Viber, WeChat, SMS through Twilio, Dialpad calls and texts, Zoho SalesIQ, any web chat widget through a signed webhook bridge, and business email over IMAP and SMTP. It is USD 49 for the company every 30 days plus USD 15 per additional employee, with the AI agent included rather than metered per resolution.
At five people that is USD 109 a month against SalesIQ Professional's USD 63.75. Apavin is the more expensive of the two for website chat, and it should be, because website chat is one twelfth of what it is doing. If chat is genuinely all you need, the honest recommendation on this page is IntellQ or SalesIQ, not this.
Can you keep SalesIQ and add an inbox?
Yes, and for a team already invested in Zoho this is usually the right first move.
Apavin connects SalesIQ over OAuth rather than pasted API keys, minting hourly access tokens from a refresh token, and respects your Zoho data centre region whether that is India, the EU, Australia or elsewhere. Zoho CRM contacts sync alongside, so the customer record and the conversation history point at the same person. SalesIQ keeps doing the visitor tracking and the widget; the conversations land in the same thread as WhatsApp and email.
That path costs more than replacing SalesIQ, and it changes nothing on your website, which is the point. It is the version you can undo.
Where is SalesIQ still the better choice?
It is a mature product with a large installed base, and two situations favour it plainly.
If you are running the rest of the Zoho suite, the integration depth inside that ecosystem is something no outside product matches, and fighting it costs more than the seat price.
If you have one or two operators and no intention of growing past that, USD 7 per operator billed annually is difficult to beat and there is a free plan with three operators to start on.
Leave when the seat count makes the bill uncomfortable, or when website chat stops being where your customers actually are.
Which one should you pick?
Count the operators, then count the channels.
Chat only, small team, staying small: SalesIQ Basic, or IntellQ if the seat count is already awkward.
Chat only, five or more people: a flat price stops the bill tracking your headcount.
Chat plus messaging apps plus email: the seat question is a distraction. The thing costing you customers is that nobody can see one person's full history, and no chat tool of any price fixes that.
The takeaway
Work out what the bill looks like at the team size you expect in a year, not the one you have. Per-operator pricing is a decision about hiring dressed as a decision about software, and it is the reason most teams leave SalesIQ rather than anything the product does.

How much does an AI sales agent cost?
Software is USD 7 to USD 150 a month, messages are billed separately by Meta, and the gap between vendors is a billing model rather than a quality difference.
